Beef Fat

Beef fat, also known as suet (when raw and from around the kidneys) or tallow (when rendered), is the natural fat found on and within cuts of beef. It varies in texture and flavor depending on its location on the animal. The fat can be firm and white (from around the kidneys and loins) or softer and more yellowish (from subcutaneous or outer fat).

Beef fat adds richness, moisture, and flavor to meat when cooked, and it's often trimmed, rendered, or ground into burgers, sausages, and meatloaf. When rendered into tallow, it's a stable cooking fat used for frying, baking, and seasoning cast iron. Package size is 1lb or 10lbs.
